Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about MARC.
What email providers does MARC support?
MARC supports both AWS SES and SMTP servers. You can use AWS accounts via IAM roles or connect your own SMTP servers from any provider. MARC intelligently routes emails across all configured servers based on your settings, rate limits, and server health.
Do I need my own email infrastructure?
Yes, you bring your own AWS SES accounts and/or SMTP servers. This gives you full control over your sending infrastructure and keeps costs low since you pay providers directly for email sending. MARC provides the routing, management, and analytics layer on top.
How does pricing work?
We charge a flat monthly fee based on your tier for the MARC platform. Your email provider costs (AWS SES, SMTP servers, etc.) are separate and billed directly by those providers. This typically works out much cheaper than all-in-one email services.
Can I migrate from SendGrid, Mailgun, or other providers?
Absolutely! Our API is designed to be easy to integrate. Most customers complete migration within a day. We provide migration guides and support to help you transition smoothly.
What happens if a server gets throttled or fails?
MARC automatically detects throttling, errors, and failures across both AWS SES and SMTP servers. It instantly redistributes traffic to healthy servers in your pool. You'll receive alerts, and the system continues sending without manual intervention.
